Nestled in the heart of the countryside of Thieusies, between Soignies and Mons, the Ch\u00e2teau de Thieusies gently blends history and nature. After the cocktail hour ends around 16:45, guests are welcome to head home and rest. Please return to the same venue at 20:00 for the evening celebration. The full schedule is available on the Timeline page.
The château is easy to find by car. Simply follow the road to Thieusies and look for the entrance on Rue du château. The brick façade is hard to miss.
There is a car park within the castle grounds. Space is limited, so if the courtyard fills up, please don’t hesitate to park just outside along the street, close to the entrance.
The nearest train station is Soignies SNCB Gare. From there, the most convenient option is a short taxi ride to the venue.
The nearest bus stop is "CASTEAU Reine de Hongrie". You can reach it from the station by taking Bus 15 (Platform A) in the direction of "MONS SNCB" — approximately 36 minutes. The stop is about a 2 km walk from the château, so a taxi may be the more comfortable choice.
A taxi from Soignies station takes around 10 minutes and is the most straightforward public transport option. We're happy to help arrange one if you need assistance.
For those who would prefer not to drive after the evening, here are a few nearby options we recommend. Please note that all rooms need to be booked in advance, so we encourage you to reserve early.

Aéroport de Charleroi Bruxelles-Sud — approximately 29 minutes by car from the venue
From the airport, we recommend a taxi or a rental car. The drive is straightforward and takes you through the countryside to Thieusies.
There is no formal dress code, but we kindly invite you to wear an elegant and chic outfit, in harmony with a wedding ceremony in the ch\u00e2teau garden. This same elegance is also expected for the evening reception, in a chic and refined atmosphere. The garden paths of the ch\u00e2teau are not always suitable for stiletto heels: more stable or flat shoes are recommended.
If in doubt, a cocktail or semi-formal outfit is always a great choice. The ceremony and the cocktail reception will take place entirely outdoors: please bring a light jacket or a shawl, even in summer.
